Who do you think had the greatest impact on you being a sneaker fiend?
Probably my big brother. When he used to have nice sneakers, I'd try to step on them! And if I had ones he wanted, he'd step on them. Then we'd fight. If our mom asked what happened, we'd say it was an accident. Now I'm trying to hook my little brother up. It irks me so bad, you don't even understand! He'll wear like an orange shirt or something like that, and then wear like shoes that have like red on them! I'm like 'AJ, change your sneakers!' He don't want to listen to me. He says, 'But I don't want to mess up my new sneakers!' It's like, 'AJ, CHANGE YOUR SNEAKERS!' And then people go, 'Your brother does not match.' And I go, 'I know. He's not my brother!'

A Discussion About Sneakers and Weddings
I was always the one in the house wearing sneakers. And everyone else was wearing like sandals and high heels. I went to my aunt's wedding, and they told me to wear sneakers. I was like, 'You want me to wear sneakers??' and they said, 'No, I'm just kidding.' And then, um, I tried to sneak my sneakers in my backpack. Then my mom looked under my dress, cuz you know how when you wear high heels you're taller? And she noticed I wasn't taller, so she pulled up my dress. 'WHAT ARE YOU WEARING!?' I got grounded, because all my aunts, all the people she invited were looking at me like, 'She doesn't have high heels on.'
I love that. You had your sneakers on.
Yea, I got in trouble.
I'm telling you if I get married, I'ma be in high tops. Cuz I've had to be, I've been the bridesmaid for three of my friends' weddings. And they always made me wear these crazy, you know painful high heels. So I told them, 'Wait til you're my bridesmaids! I'll make you go out and buy some high tops. I don't care if you never wear them again, cuz I never wore those high heels again except for that wedding.'

What do guys think about you being a sneaker fiend?
When they see me wearing sneakers, like new sneakers, or just sneakers period, they're like, 'Oh you always match your sneakers.' And stuff like that. They sort of look up to me, and they try to do the same thing. And then they KNOW not to step on my sneakers! All the boys that hang with me, they're like, 'Don't step on her sneakers! Whatever you do, do NOT step on her sneakers!' Cuz they stepped on my sneakers before and I was about to kill them! They're like, 'She'll strangle you if you step on her sneakers!'

Bad weather and sneakers...
For the first day of school we had gym. And I wore my new sneakers, and it was raining that day, so we were out in the MUD....In the MUD, we had to run around seven times! We had to run a mile....Good thing the gym teacher...I literally wore someone else's stinky sneakers! Instead of getting my sneakers dirty! Cuz she has, just in case like you forgot to bring your sneakers, she has sneakers that you can wear. I'm like PLEAAASE, can I change my sneakers? I had to literally beg her, cuz she was like, 'No you're not changing your sneakers.' So I was like 'PLEAASE!?' She was like, 'Okay, I understand.' Wow.
