When did you start loving sneakers?
This all started in junior high school and became an addiction by the time I reached high school.  Honestly, I didn’t think it was that bad, until my mom said one day “Jen, your room is a mess, all you have are sneaker boxes all over the place!” That’s when I knew I loved sneakers and that the boxes would just keep stackin’ up-- especially since I knew it bugged my mom big time.

Can you remember the first pair you were crazy about?
Oh man!  I was crazy about all my kicks! BUT, there was that one pair of Air Jordan III’s (red/cement grey) that I rocked extremely much in high school…. don’t got those anymore.

What do family and friends think about you being a sneaker fiend?
Well we already know how my mom feels about me being a sneaker fiend (laughs).  Everyone else thinks I’m just nuts for having so many pairs.

Describe your sneaker collection.
My sneaker collection is 99.8% NIKE. I have a few air max 90’s, 95’s, 97’s, a few SB’s, some dunks, a pair of javelins that I turned into kicks, (which look awesome!),  and then I have a pair of NB 1300’s and a pair of Asics gel-lytes. I don’t really have lots of sneakers (about 27), but I’d say its quality that counts- for sure!

Do you have a favorite pair of all time?
My favorite pair of all timeee…would have to be my air max 90’s infrareds because they’re pretty rare and the color is just sick!

Do you have any good sneaker-hunting stories?
Yeah.. there was this one time that my friend mentioned some sneaker spot that was out in Brooklyn somewhere, but she didn’t know the exact street or name of the shop, and well I decided to go look for it on my own, and of course I got lost (laughs), so I just kinda lost hope to find that place and kept walkin’ to get to the nearest subway, when all of a sudden I came across this little old-lookin’ mom & pop shop…walked in that piece and immediately a pair caught my eye—the javelins [with cleats]. The color was just so bright, I fell in love with 'em! Copped em,  and my shoe man “Lee” turned that pair of javelins into some sexy lookin’ rockable kicks. So yeah,  that day was a good day.

Do you think it’s different being a FEMALE sneaker fiend?
It’s totally different, just because there aren’t too many of us out there. I mean, I’m pretty sure lots of females own at least one pair of sneakers, but it’s different when you go huntin’ for kicks all the time and you know release dates and all that... So yeah,  being a female sneaker fiend ain’t an easy thang. (laughs)   “rock it, don’t stop it”   NUFF SEDD…………………
