When did you start loving sneakers?
I mean I really am new to the game; it isn’t like I started years ago. The first time I got really serious about the kick game was when they released the red and black Jordan XIII’s. Then all the other XIII’s started coming out and I wanted them all (now I just need the og colorways), because I thought they were hot.

The obsession didn’t even come about until a year or so ago, if that. It was just when my brother Troy started buying more and more kicks, that I started wanting them more and more. Then in June of 2004 I started working for Nike and it was a wrap. Now it is like an addiction, I really think buying kicks is a high for sneakerHEADS. I see a pair of kicks I want and I am so determined to get a pair, but then my parents tell me I don’t need anymore shoes. I mean the shoes line the wall of a GUEST bedroom, so now we have to move them every time a guest comes over.

What is your first memory of sneakers?
My first memory of sneakers period, not hyped brands, would have to be in Middle School, when the new Sketchers came out. Every girl in my school wanted them, so as soon as they came in Journey’s I had to go get them. They were burgundy patent leather style with sparkles all in it. To be honest I don’t even know why I wanted them so bad, but I thought I was so cool.

What’s your favorite sneaker (for now, or for all time)?
My all time have to have one day holy grail would be the Air Tech Challenge (Agassi’s) preferably in Neon pink and black; but I can compromise with any colorway right now; but I want them dead stock with very little yellowing; which is unlikely. Also, my favorite category would be vintage, except they are so expensive.

Do you think it’s different being a FEMALE sneaker fiend? how so? what do guys think about it? girls?
It still is very different for a female in the kick game, but it is starting to become more and more frequent. Being a FSF you get a lot of attention, all these guys want to talk to you and tell you how they love your kicks; but most guys don’t have the guts to compliment a female sneakerHEAD. In my opinion, most guys will go up to a fine female over a girl with hot kicks; they beast over looks before kicks. Even on the everyday sneaker forums a girl posts her picture wearing heat and a guy will tell her she is hot and then say her kicks are hot.

Do (or did) you have role models—other FSF’s or athletes who wore your favorite kicks?
Right now all my idols are the FSF on these forums throwing up more heat then the males. I mean seriously so many females go vintage, and the vintage game is serious. I want to start a vintage collection, but I know my bankroll cannot afford all these vintage 100+ $ shoes all the time. I admire every FSF, keep the female kick game up. Represent for the Ladies of Soles.
