Funky Fresh Fall 2009

Everything from cinema to music and even political policy is being reformed with new fresh perspectives reflective of the times. As everyone reestablishes their autumn groove, building a revamped wardrobe is high on many a priority list.  And so here is my FSF Fall 2009 sneaker look out list. These featured sneaker delectable delights of artistic perfection are a few of many hot joints to look out for this season.

For the calm, collected type fiend, there are a good selection of sleek Keep brand styles. With muted tones and semi-picnic patterns these heather grey beauties are perfect for the college fiend who gets an A+ in fly-sneaker-nomics 101. Check the Nuss, Guerra, and Benten styles.

The Selvage denim Trailblazers are perfect for weekend or after-work shindigs. With a casual, multi-textured, leather and denim composition, they accent most pairs of jeans perfectly (but if you really know the deal, you have to wear them with your selvage jeans!)

The ever-innovative Hellz Bellz clothing brand will soon be releasing a collaboration with Reebok. This shoe is very edgy and simultaneously classic with the black leather finish.

Aside from the casual and collegiate looks, there is always the classic option. These Nike Blazer High Vintage beauties fit the criteria. Peep the soles that are a yellow that is reminiscent of old newspaper clippings.

Due to the drop in temperature levels, there is always a surplus of mid and high top kicks in the fall season. I am a fan of the ankle support, so this is not me complaining. To add to the list, there are the sporty, streetwear edgy adidas Campus Vulc High ‘Diagonal’ Black/Poppy/Pool Kicks, designed by Matt Irving of Delphi, and a very limited release. These are great for skaters or the athlete who appreciates the fly streetwear aesthetic.

In the face of economic hardships and social changes the sneaker industry never falters in its mission to bring funky fresh collectables to the consumer. Edgy, casual or preppy collegiate, take your pick: the choices of the fall sneaker season are a breath of crisp air.
