I'm 17.. I feel like my parents are sucking the christmas spirit out of me lol.
They said I'm too old to be recieving presents and they just give me money -__-
Don't get me wrong, money is great; but I miss having to be waking up early in the morning just to open presents and see your fam opening the presents you gave em.. I'm disappointed. lol

17 is still young! It's not bad to expect a surprise! Money isn't everything and it's usually the fact that someone put thought into you gift that matters there is nothing wrong with wanting a traditional Christmas instead of a commercialized Christmas! I pray your Christmas is Blessed!!

I don't think 17 is too old.. we are always a kid in our parent's point of view and in our heart. Sure.. money is great and you can buy whatever you want, but it's not as meaningful as a present. When they choose our present, it shows how much they understand us. And that moment when we unwrap our gift is very exciting. Well, point is, no one is ever too old to receive presents :) !
