^^ i was on AP at least one quarter per year until my 4th year. my cumulative right now is a 2.68. a 3.0 really isn't bad.

i'm a graphic design major.

right now i work for a clothing company but had originally planned on doing advertising.

pay won't be stable until i find my niche and a company that i can work great with. it really depends on how determined you are. i'm not doing it for the money so i'm just doing what i can and not coming down too hard on myself.

pick something you know you can put your heart into. a subject where you know you'll want to go to class and want to learn.

i did business admin and failed financial accounting. it was stupid. i changed my major to art and switched schools after my THIRD year to pursue what i should have done in the beginning.

The program @ my school was new and unorganized. Personally, I didnt see the point in majoring in fashion retail...esp if you want to own a business bc @ the end of the day its about who you know and your actual experience in the industry verses a degree in it (unless its fashion design-cut & sew).

anything that has to do with fashion, art, music, etc is all about connections. unless you are extraordinary at what you do, it is very hard to find a well paying job unless you expect to get super famous :|

I'm a international studies major with a minor in business. I'm not sure what career field I wanna branch into yet but, journalism is where I'm gonna end up.

 Luckily, Im already in my career but yes, its about connections however, I made my own name in Atl so it isn't impossible. You can honestly just be yourself and success will follow your lead.

Be wise and versatile! Get internships either in HS or your first yr in college ... don't wait. Blackberries are useful too (lol) def. rack up on contacts. Use all resources blah blah blah lol

Whatever you ladies choose to study, make sure its something you'll enjoy and something fun! Def. go to school for FREE too! I refuse to pay for education. Take school seriously but def. enjoy your college experience. 8)
