I love French.. It's a beautiful language.. But yeah, the whole trick is the pronounciation.. Hopefully I'll be moving to Paris this year..

C'est Tre' facile mon amie!
(its easy my friend)
french is easy because some words are similar to spanish and some words sound and look english like. Conjugating verbs are easy too. and its fun to learn. I took french in 6-11 grade and i still remember it. Do it!
now im learning japanese, it takes alot of commitment but its fun. Im learning pretty fast and can practically read and write already and its been 2 or three months since ive started.
I love language haha

i took french in middle school, i got a 98 on the proficiency test. but all i can really remember is a few basics and je ne sais pas!
it all depends on whether or not you really do like the language you're learning and whether you're willing to devote time to learning it. french and spanish are definitely easier than chinese though!

I've taken French for 2 1/2 years so far. I love it. The only irritating thing is having to remember how to conjugate a bunch of things when writing, but speaking it is pretty fun.

long term it's something i'd like to learn, along with brushing up on spanish. out here in wi, if you go down the am dial on the radio at night, you can pick up some strong french speaking canadian radio stations out of toronto and montreal (690am and 860am)...try it if it's not too full of static....they come in pretty clear out here....or stream them over the internet as well...
