What do you guys think about using scarves as accessories?

example : the houndstooth scarf that comes in every color of the rainbow +more..

stupid idea and that scarves should only be worn when its cold? or a good trend?

I find scarves very classy, if not classier and better than the bopper bandanas. I live in SD, but I'll wear a scarf if it's in the 70's. like if I'm wearing a plain top, and a scarf. just like in the bottom left picture, I wore a pink and black scarf like that, exactly the way it was worn, with a plain white top, and skinny jeans and flats. scarves are cute until you start wearing them when it's 80 degrees outside, and you're sweating.

i'd agree, I see chicks wearing them mainly during the fall-winter months here, and it does add a touch of class and style. I'm anal, so I notice just about every detail on well-dressed chicks, and compliment them whenever it's possible. 8)

I think scarves like the one with the houndstooth pattern only look nice if you have a plain color shirt under for example white or black. it looks confusing if your shirt is patterned too.

not necessarily. besides, when people do follow him, they don't always pull it off. most of the time it comes out ridiculous.

yea, I did. maybe I wasn't being specific. when she was referring to other "kids", I was referring to them as "boppers" because they wear them unclassy, and hypebeast-like, IMO.

no offense but im sure a lot of older people will look at younger people who have style and claim them as boppers. i do the same thing. i see 12, 13, 14 year olds that dress like me and i call them boppers cuz i've had the same style since the 10th grade and im a 4th year in college now.

but i gotta argue with spideyx190 that scarves are kind of a necessity, unlike bandanas or high knee socks lmao. kanye didn't start a trend of wearing scarves, he just made the kids think it's cool even though adults were already wearing it like that long before kanye came along. im sure a MAJORITY of the people who are accused of just tryna be in "style" are actually wearing it because they need to wear a scarf. but i laugh when i see people wear it like that on a hot day. like i dont get people who wear a scarf with a tank top and booty shorts just cuz it makes them look hype. i assume that's what loompdea meant.
