Okay, so I've known my boyfriend since we were in high school, we've been together for about 4 years and have a two year old daughter. I can't fart in front of him, I just can't -- I have to excuse myself to go to the "bathroom" or make up another excuse. One time I did fart in front of him, accidentally, and OMG he was so stunned. He was like "did you fart" and I turned as red as a tomato -- he said he didn't care, he farts all the time. But I can't -- I just can't help from being embarassed LOL... Do any of you ladies have the same problem farting in front of your significant other (especially if you've been together for a long period of time) ?

LOL aww , i don't ahve a boyfriend but like yea totally i'd be mad embarrassed and really awkward about farting in front of him. that's why i usually don't even eat foods that will give me gas you know :O .

But I guess i can tell you that you aren't the only one out there, I can't fart in front of my boyfriend either. So it's cool. And if he can fart in front of you, you can give him one back in return as well

Haha! I never experienced this but, I mean I don't think farting is a bad thing. It's something all humans do. It's all because of the myth that "woman don't fart" that others start thinking it's nasty. It's okay, give it time. It'll be natural to you guys once you're married or once you guys start realizing it's okay to fart around each other

i was so embarrassed, he's like "what was that?" i said "my bum" he just laughed and called me cute
he farts all the time but I think its just harder to us even though we're all humans.. his reaction did make me feel a bit more at ease though lolz

I don't care we fart next to each other all the time and sometimes I would lift up the blanket for him to smell it and he would do the same back, I mean I feel really comfortable around him. Farting is natural everyone do it, there shouldn't be anything to be embarrassed about, if they love you they should love everything about you (:
