My sister got it done last year, only bad thing I guess is the use of so much hair spray, gel and mousse

why do you have to use so much product in it?
I have curly hair and I don't put anything in it. I just wash it and IF I feel like it once it's dry I put on this coconut oil from the body shop so that it stays and doesn't frizz when it's warmer outside.

hmm.. I guess curly permed hair acts differently..

I know its way more than enough chemicals for your hair to handle but I get a perm atleast every 6 months.
I used to have pretty thick puffy hair and I hated it.
I have a round face so for me to have straight hair, it makes my face looking more round.
The only down part of getting a "curly" or "wavy" perm is that it dies after a couple of months and I would have to use more and more mouse just to hold the curls in.
BUT, I definitely LOVE my perm :D

I wanna perm my hair too but I have fine Asian hair so I'm afraid it won't look that nice

my best friend used to get one every year ... it looks nice on thicker hair rather than thin hair because then you aready know its fake. she loved the perm, but when it grew out it looked so weird because her hair was pins straight at the root and very curly on the bottom, so it depends if youre ready for the upkeep!
