I never really noticed that paypal charges a fee until after a few times transactions, but then I noticed it was always a couple dollars off. I really didnt care because it was only a couple dollars, but I never seen, read, or heard of 4% being charged by paypal nor does paypal really advertised it anywhere. they just take it! Thank you to FSF for the clue about what happens to some of my money when I do a transaction.

Good to know this. Now I gotta keep a look out. I rather play safe with 4/5% rather than getting scammed over gift Smh.

I have asked people to send money to me as a gift on PayPal for kicks and I always ship their stuff same day! I don't think it is everyone, the reason people are asking for it this way is cuz PayPal is now holding your money until you ship and if you included shipping in your charge you can't send the item or you pay out of your own pocket to ship!!
