Steph, heeey, how are you? how's school?... I'm doing great, I just finished with my first year of college, YAY! lols it went really well a lot better than I anticipated! & I'm studying Public Health and Global Health!! My job is on this island called Orca's Island, that I've never heard of, but its a very beautiful place really close to Canada, but I'm an Adventure Team Staff so I take kids zip lining, on giant swings, high ropes, kayaking and bmx!

Margaret, I'll be on this island till late August then I'm going down to Arizona (I hope) to visit a friend for my month of summer. Do you have any plans? How's work and school for you?

how are you feeling about your job/career? what field are you in?

i'm currently trying to find an internship ASAP. i graduate in may and may pursue a master's. i have a final on thursday and i'll be done with my summer classes. i'm mostly focusing on myself atm. i'm trying to downsize my wardrobe + save money + get in shape. i'm trying to improve my time-management skills, too

things are way better now ... I am in a relationship where I'm not really worried about what he's doing or who he's with ... I trust him completely

I love my current job, it's close to home good pay and great people

I'm currently in a law office although I got a BA in Journalism and also went to Culinary school ... I'm just seeing what's out there

I haven't really had time to take pictures because I've been out on the water or busy, but last night we had a little rain and I was able to catch it during the sunset so I got a picture of the sunset, it was just so beautiful! That's Waldron Island that you see across the way where the horizon hits, which is a very exclusive, invite only island that is a part of Canada!


Steph; that sounds so amazing, I can't wait until I graduated only a few more years to go! I would like to first start traveling the world just so I can be more familiar with other countries, and eventually I want to work for something along the lines of the U.N maybe for economic development, I also want to take part of start a non-profit organization like ProPeru, Habitat for Humanity International, or UNICEF!

Marg, that's insane, I'm sorry to hear that but I'm glad to read that things are better and you're doing good as well. Have you done anything excited over summer so far?

I'm not really going any where this summer, I've been busy all summer. I'm going on my last week at this island! It's a bit sad, I've slowly started loving this place!

Margaret, How was the trip?!

I've been off the island for a week and a half now and I feel like I've been so out of the loop. I leave back for school in a week and I feel really excited, I finally know what I want to do and I've already started working on heading that direction.
